Instalando em linux baseados no Debian/Ubuntu
Entre num terminal e digite o comando:
sudo apt-get install -y ocsinventory-agent
Digite sua senha e escolha a opção http na tela que aparecerá
Em "nome da máquina do servidor OCS-Inventory" digite 10.17.64.125
Instalando em linux baseados no RedHat
Preparação para instalar
Verifique se os seguintes pacotes estão instalados no seu sistema operacional:
yum install -y epel-release perl-XML-Simple perl-Compress-Zlib perl-Net-IP perl-Net-SSLeay perl-Crypt-SSLeay perl-Net-SNMP perl-Proc-Daemon perl-Proc-PID-File pciutils smartmontools make perl
Baixe o arquivo do agente:
wget https://github.com/OCSInventory-NG/UnixAgent/archive/master.zip
Descompacte os arquivos:
unzip master.zip
Entre no diretório Ocsinventory-Agent-*:
cd Unix-Agent-master
Inicie a instalação:
perl Makefile.PL
Ignore a seguinte mensagem:
Please install Crypt::SSLeay if you want to use SSL. Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good Writing Makefile for Ocsinventory::Agent
Execute o comando:
make; make install;
Surge o Assistente:

Instalação do agente do OCS-Inventory em Windows
Faça o download do agente do OCS-Inventory no link: https://github.com/OCSInventory-NG/WindowsAgent/releases/download/2.3/OCSNG-Windows-Agent-2.3.0.0.zip
Descompacte os arquivos e entre na pasta "OCS-NG-WINDOWS-AGENT" e dê um duplo clique em "OCS-NG-Windows-Agent-Setup.exe"
Na tela que irá se iniciar, clique em Next
Na próxima tela, clique em I Agree
Na tela de componentes, selecione todos menos a opção "Local inventory (no network connection)" e clique em Next
A próxima tela, possui os seguintes campos:
No campo server URL, digite: http://10.17.64.125/ocsreports
Nos demais campos, favor deixar sem preencher e clique em Next.
A próxima tela requisita opções de Proxy, selecione None, deixe os demais campos em branco e clique em Next
A tela seguinte pergunta por opções gerais, em TAG, digite: notebook e dê Next
A próxima tela vai mostrar onde será instalado, dê Next
Será instalado, pressione Finish
